The Ryobi P252 is an 18-volt cordless drill made by Ryobi. It features a small and compact design, weighing only 2.7 lbs.
If you buy the entire kit you get the drill, the impact driver, two 18-volt Ryobi batteries, and a charger.
It features a keyless chuck, which allows for easy switching of drill bits. The chuck is plastic though, instead of metal like other good cordless drills. The best cordless drill will typically have a metal chuck.
In terms of ergonomics, it’s well-designed because it’s light and has a soft rubber grip for easy handling.
One feature we really like about this drill is the MAGTRAY or magnetic tray, which allows the storage of bits and fasteners directly on the tool for easy access. It also comes with an LED light to help drill in dark places.
There have been reported problems with the 18-volt Ryobi batteries that come with this drill. However, if you buy it from Amazon, they have a good return policy. So if you go for it and it doesn’t work you could always return it. Overall, it’s a pretty solid tool from Ryobi.
