This circular saw has a cord. If you’re okay with a corded model, then consider the WORXSAW. Unlike some other corded models (looking at you Skil) this one actually has a long cord, so no extension cord is needed.
The one-handed operation of this circular saw makes it easy to control. The depth of cuts is easy to adjust, and the marks are accurate too. The ergonomic design makes the hand position comfortable and easy to control. Excellent accuracy and good precision.
It’s roughly the same weight as the DeWalt which we featured in our article on the best circular saw. The feel of this is very high quality. The stock blade is easy to install and operate. It has a quiet operation too. Furthermore, the included stock blade is nice and sharp.
The depth adjustment mechanism makes it easy to make depth adjustments. Lines up with the mark on the shoe for accurate cuts. And the lock release is easy to reach as well. Easy to change blades. The rip fence is also easy to use, and it can be adjusted using the included wrench that is on the cord of this saw. The ergonomic grip handle makes it comfortable to hold and easy to control as well. The overall build quality just feels good.
